Note. about a 95 air bag removes and installs differently you depress center of the 4 studs their is a ball check like what you see in a ratchet on reassembly depress the tips of studs spring will pop up covering check ball now just line up and push .I saw no vidio covering this type good luck
Is it possible to fit a 94 2 spoke steering wheel on a 95-97? Will it work? I looked up a 94 oem wheel and noticed the hole the horn wire goes through matches up with the 95
Awesome dude!! Slowly rejuvenating my 01. Got a new Tran and a new diff52k. Gonna duraback her next then in about a year getting anew motor. Leaks about a 1/2 pint every 3k with 280k miles. Put some performance parts and a lift to run 31’s. Drive it for another 20! Motor is all new except the long.
Is it the airbag that came off that wheel? If not there are two types that are similar and not compatible Make sure you don’t have any bent parts or unseated parts
Thank You for the informative and educational video. Your example of steering wheel removal was much simpler than I imagined. Keep us the great videos. Have A Good Day! 🛻🚤🏖️
I watched another video from a shop on how to diagnos the horn not working on a Chevy S-10 or GMC S-15. It ended up being the horn button under the airbag. He wasn't real clear as to how to remove the airbag and only mentioned one pin and clip on each side. I have a 1987 GMC S-15 with just over 235,000 Miles with the 4.3ltr V6 and my horn doesn't work and wanted to check the button because I don't hear the relay clicking in the glove box anymore. I saw two pins on both sides of the steering wheel. After watching your video and the way you showed how to remove it, it was just what I was looking for. Thanks for the detailed explanation. Oh yeah, the other guy didn't mention disconnecting the battery, but as a retired motorcycle technician, I already knew that. Thanks again.
Thanks!!! I needed to replace a turn signal switch on a 2000 Sonoma and Pro Demand wasn't too clear on instructions for air bag removal. This video helped a lot!
Was looking exactly for this information. Thank you! My son is slowly rebuilding my old 1996 blazer and I did not have an answer for him until we found your channel.
This is awesome I'm glad I checked out your RU-vid I've been following your Instagram for a while now. I have had my first truck which is a 2004 blazer and I just bought an 01 Sonoma 4x4 and am working on rebuilding it. Gonna take the steering wheel off my dad's old Jimmy and change it with my Sonomas. Thanks man!
Thank you for the video. I have a basic 2003 Sonoma. I’d like to add tilt and cruise. Is there a way to determine if the truck was pre-wired for cruise?
Excellent video! Very detailed! I'm about to deal with the steering wheel on my 2000 Blazer. My old steering wheel leather was all torn. I'm installing the same factory wheel but this one has radio controls. Thanks again for the great video!
