Hello we are a micro dealer and have had many ceased button bolts this issue whould not be an issue if micro would stop putting unnecessary lock tight I have never had an issue with any brand scooter over the last 20 years of wheels coming off not having lock tight.
As the other commenters have pointed out, it's pretty shocking that this should be necessary to get the wheels off. But also, that's an incredibly dangerous way to use a power drill and is not something you should be suggesting to amateurs. One slip and it's going through your other hand.
Brand new Micro scooter: We wanted to add LED wheels, and the wheel bolts are absolutely stuck. Not pleased with this manufacturing choice. Wheels should be replaceable with ease.
Awful engineering. How about: do t use a button head stainless steel bolt for this application. A properly coated bolt that you can get a proper socket wrench on would not require you to drill it out ffs. Wont be buying another one of your products!
