Glad I saw this, I have a diamond bezel and want to put the non diamond back on, took it to a jewelry dealer and he couldn't do it, he got it off but was not able to get the reg bezel to lock, I now see he failed to put enough screws back and rotate until it clicked back in. I will do it now myself.
I have a Breitling Aerospace E65362 Repetition Minutes. The bezel doesn't seem to want to park with the top rider in the middle of the 12. It wants to click on either side of the 12. Is there a way to adjust the bezel or spring to correct this? Your videos help me a lot. Thanks!
Removing it was easy but after putting ot back on it's super tight and tends to bind. Also, I didnt keep track of the screws and not every screw would fit into every hole, needed some trial and error to fit all of them. Any ideas? Many thanks!
If it has the bezel with the screws like on this one, absolutely my friend. Thank you for watching. Please subscribe and help support the channel. Thank you.
Hello dear friend I have superocean 46 mm heritage replica . , The bazel clicks are sounds cheap and there is a loose space backwards when i turning the bazel,. Do you know how to take the bazel of from my model ? And how can i tightened the spring ? Thank you dear friend
Can i just take the rider tabs out and put them back in ? Because i read a lot of people where they say they lost there rider tab ? I want to change the rider tabs from a chronomat to another chronomat basically just swap them ? Is it a good idea ? Or do i need a sort of glue ?
Hi - I hope you can help me. I have a Aerospace and I need to replace the bezel spring. I did exactly as you described in your video but the bezel did not come off! I do not want to use too much force to lever it off but I dont know what to do now. I even removed all the screws so as not to lose any but left the 4 riders intact - maybe on the Aerospace I need to loosen the riders as well?
I would twist the bezel with the screws off as to hopefully jar the bezel loose. You can try to remove the riders as well, but the bezel should come off once the screws are removed.
thanks for your quick reply!! And if I remove the riders then there is no reason for the bezel not to come off? The screws can be the only things that hold it in place?
@@MrMarkram yes sir! My guess is that because it probably was never removed, the gunk that has accumulated over the years has acted as a “glue”. Taking the delicate approach of twisting the bezel as pulling upwards should remove. If you want, you can squirt some weld-40 around the bezel to further assist.
Excellent video thanks very much I have one with gold plated writers I wonder how much they are! Can I just remove the non writer screws, will that work? Or do I need to remove one or two of the writer screws plus most of the non writer screws? I guess once the bezel is off I'll see!
Nice Video. I have a similar version but the Riders are gold. I want to polish them but am afraid that they are plated and could be made worse. I'm polishing for a mate and want to do what's best. What would you suggest?
I suspect that you’re correct about the gold plating and could rub off the plating. I would clean the gold riders with toothpaste and a toothbrush or even those cape cod polishing cloths but definitely nothing too abrasive. Thanks for to watching and supporting the channel.
@@AvgJoeWatchReviews Funny enough they seem to be solid gold unlike the knob and buttons which are worn. I managed to polish the Riders with my rotary tool with no issues. I guess they wanted them to be durable. They are certainly a gold colour right through.
Thanks for the response. I can find nowhere the size of the screw required for the superocean 42 bezel. I say on ebay that they sell them, but none mention models only sizes of the screws.@@AvgJoeWatchReviews
I'm thinking of replacing my crystal of my.45 mm avenger skyland.. I'm guessing I have to go thru the back and remove movement? I was hoping it was easier and just go thru the front
Never done nor will I anytime soon so your guess is as good as mine. Please subscribe if you haven’t already and help support the channel. Thanks for watching.
