YOUR REACTION WAS WORTH THE TIME WATCHING! I CANT BELIEVE THAT YOU GOT THAT OFF IN LESS THAN 15 MINUTES. LOL! GREAT JOB! I'VE ALWAYS TRIED TO DO THINGS LIKE THIS MYSELF. I'VE WON AND LOST,AND BEEN SURPRISED TOO!
Thank you very good video very simple to understand I appreciate it very much, even guys who do minor mechanical work can do this good instructional video
@@yusufrimawi982 you don't know how much it helped I was looking at a nice Ford Ranger, it is at Copart only thing wrong with it is a busted left fender, and I can't afford a Body Shop and I need something economical on gas, luckily the truck is a standard White and there's many used ones around here that are wrecked, again I want to thank you for the video I really can't take you how much it helped me I'm 63 years old, and you made it understandable simple and convenient young man I appreciate you very much God bless you young man
For anyone who has to do this in the future. Remove the 4 bolts holding the bed to the frame and you'll have a few inches of wiggle room, without impeding the fuel pipe to get to those bolts in between the bed and the cab
Thank you!! I'm not sure yet. So far I've got it up and running and fixed a bunch of stuff. Corona put everything on hold so we'll see what the future brings 😁
I was wondering if this was the same for the non stepside steel version. I have a lot of damage on one side but the other side is mint and was hoping to not replace whole bed.
Is there anyway to push the fiberglass bed side out wards because I hit that and it push the bedside in wards in a way that make the tailgate unusable.
Thanks! Electrical tape works as well! I needed more angle so I went with the zip tie. I was thinking of switching up the bed but I love the stepside so much! It's really unique to have the stepside with a regular cab, 5 speed, and rwd. If I ever get a diesel I'd make a custom flatbed for it.
I totally disagree with your praise of the fiberglass. IMO its a sh88t design and I also hate the way the bed top corners no longer have hole throughs for if you wanted to stick in a 2x4 and screw in some plywood to them to increase the bed height for hauling yard waste etc. The fiberglass is about as lame as driver seat covers, bed covers, or spray on bed liner.
