In this video I show you how to remove the front air dam/lower valance off your Sierra/Silverado. My truck is a 2016 GMC Sierra 2500, any GM truck around 2016 up to 2019 should be extremely similar to this. All you have to do is take off the 16 bolts holding it on, and it comes right off.

What the hell is that plastic bullshit for, anyway? Mines been saggin off my 2018 Silverado for months after dragging it over a curb. Been wanting to tear it off but wasn’t sure wtf it’s purpose was. Thanks for the vid. Im gonna tear my shit off now. Dope truck, btw

I’m confused by this because if anything it should give more clearance? It doesn’t lower your vehicle so I think your loss of clearance would be due to something else
