My goal for this channel is to build it to have one of the most impressive garage’s on the internet. I realize this is a big goal to set and nearly impossible to accomplish, but shouldn’t that be what dreams are? Why set low standards for yourself? Dream big, because no one remembers the person who was realistic. They remember those who accomplish what everyone said “couldn’t be done”. I’ve been into cars since I was very little. I love everything from lifted trucks to Hypercars. If it has 4 wheels and a motor, I’m probably interested. Here’s to the start of something great, and hopefully I can look back on this years from now and see where it all started.
Thanks it sure did. I can't believe the dealership couldn't answer anything about the two cars just let me see how much it's cost.aftee 30 min I had to walk away.
I just got the Bolt. It's my first EV. I hated looking for charging the first week and dealing with the customer service. However, the car itself is worth it. It is fast, it accelerates and it has room. It's the perfect utility vehicle for getting around town. This is the purpose of EV to me. Due to the limited range of EVs, they should be looked upon as practical cars, not luxury. The only other real problem I have with this Bolt, is that it could have been designed way better, for handling. They could have made this one a real winner, but instead, created something that is simply fun to drive and get around town. I highly suggest anyone test drive one of these little toys for themselves...
This would be so much clearer if a 6 feet person would first sit in the front and set the seat up, and then go to the back to see what's left. That with both, to compare. Right now, noone can see if the EV would be "good enough".
You can make a lot tighter turns with the EV. Turning diameter for the EV is 34.8 while the EUV is 38.3, that's a huge difference is you are doing a lot of driving downtown, parking in parallel, etc. I use to own a 2007 Tacoma Extra cab 4WD loaded I bought new in 2007. I was doing professional photography in CA and I would travel to San Francisco regularly. It was tough find a spot to park the Tacoma, but I really didn't notice it. Then I bought a Nissan Cube and I COULD NOT BELIEVE how easy it was to find parking, get into park, and zip around San Francisco vs the Tacoma. I was astounded by it. So the turning radius is no joke. That said, I really do like the EUV looks better. BTW, we just bought an EV LT2 loaded. We're waiting for our wire to clear the dealer and then I can pick it up. I'm still having reservations about maybe changing to the EUV :( What do you guys say?
This is not the valance!!! Does anyone know where I can get directions on removing my lower grille to bolt on aftermarket grill cover with tow hook openings????
I agree with your evaluation that front end needed some elements from the back end to tie it together. It does look better in rl than the press pics! I'm not so sure about the wheels... My opinion is if they RACE with those wheels, maybe they'll catch on. Otherwise it'll prob only ever be seen on the Speedtail.
The truth its the same dam truck with different interior leather choices and color match bumpers plus different packages to choose from but basically its the same dam truck
Where did you pay $110 for this? I bought the same exact thing for $42. I’m happy you like it and you have some beautiful puppies but I am still baffled laughing how a Sawzall came into play installing this thing. Hysterical 🤣🤣
I'm a long time gear head who has never owned an automatic transmission car. I think they're boring. Now I've heard repeated noises from Ford that they have a new 8 Speed Manual transmission coming down the pike. When you click on the video, they down grade it to the 6 Spped Manual. They also offer a 10 speed automatic. Boring! so what's this I hear about an 8 Speed Manual? Are they just jerking this gear heads chain?
Never been a fan of "painted" bumpers and over time, most will understand why chrome is just a better way to go. Plus, chrome just looks three times as good IMO. One would think the "High Country" edition would be much more than just a few different colored pieces to justify the large price difference.
Does the EUV have higher ground clearance? The EUV is noticeably taller, but you said the headroom is the same. Is there higher ground clearance, or is the bottom of the car just chonkier?
I did some more reading, and it looks like the EUV's height is just an optical illusion. There's like a 5mm difference in height, but the rails on the EUV roof make it look taller.
