How do you remove a possible stripped high pressure hose nut. Ive tryed crow feet , wrenches nothing is working. I have a 95 mustang, and this is coming impossible. Any ideas what to use. Its a project car....the pully is removed, alternator and pully remove battery remove....

Also Older cars are SUPER SUPER Easy to Work On. In Older cars, everything is right there where You can easily get to it for a DIYfer. But In Newer cars, with Horrible designs, You'll have to go through hell and back to do any little thing. SmH

Ok that was nice......sort of. It would have been nice if you'd explained whether you need to remove fluid first if you have an external reservoir, and also the bleeding process after the new pump had been installed.....................But I suppose you have to buy the video for that. Touche sir, Touche. Lucky I do my own mechanics, but I feel sorry for the poor schmuck who watched this and thought he was going to actually complete the job.

I Know right, I was like this cant be all that's needed to complete a work like this. I'm quite a rookie, I've been watching all the videos that I can find to change the power steering pump on My 05 impala 3.8. I Hope I get all the knowledge I need to tackle that task. And You're a Lucky Man!, You're able to do Your mechanic works!!, I envy You, Hope someday I'll get used to doing My own work like a champ!

Haynes Manual describes how to bleed the system. It also advises you to be ready to catch any fluid that leaks and to plug the hoses. Of course, every job is different and there always seems to be a surprise. It's never as simple as these videos lead you to believe.

Nedu Nonny P Hey mate, I recently changed mine on my Honda Type R B18C7 engine, it was easy as. First remove as much of the steering fluid from the reservoir, remove the pump, change it or whatever you have to do, re connect the pump, put more fluid in the reservoir, start the car, and then remove any air in the lines by turning the steering wheel to the left at full lock and to the right, (make sure you don't let the reservoir oil run out, keep it topped up) problem solved and that is that. been driving mine now for 3 months after this job and no probs whatsoever. Good luck mate
