How to Remove the Roof of a Pagani Zonda 760 Roadster

"In case you ever need to know". While the one-off Pagani Zonda 760 Roadster has been being detailed and had paint protection film applied at Topaz Detailing London, in order to access various parts the roof needed removing. With the team having been demonstrated the process by Horacio Pagani himself in London the day before, we show you on camera how it is done.
The car in question is a custom project, finished in blue carbon fibre and built up to Zonda 760 specification. It is the first 760 Roadster to be built and also features a very rare choice of manual gearbox. When the roof has been removed it can be stowed away in the front boot in a purpose built compartment.

The p1 is just a toyota corolla next to the 760rs don't get m wrong i like the p1 :) but it's not all about 0-60 and top speed you know.....

This is the type of video I love. Of course I'll never in my life have to remove the roof of a Zonda, but this is interesting trivia that you don't get from other sources. Things like motor data or used materials can be found all over the internet.

Fabio Campana Well it is build in Italy by an Italian company - I would say that it is totally an Italian car. I know that Horacio Pagani is from Argentina, but he's been a part of the Italian car industry for so long that he is pretty much native by now :)

Absolutely try doing the process in reverse during a rainstorm, mind you drive quick enough and the rain will go straight over the top.

Thanks to this video I now know how to remove the top of my 1 million pound Zonda!!! I bought the f***er but spent 2 weeks in the garage trying to remove the roof and then on comes my wife to the garage saying that the video has been uploaded! Thank God for that!!! Only if there was a video showing me how to open the door to get in!!

It would suck driving this car and some unexpected rain just comes pouring down and you would have to pull to the side of the road and do all of this to put the roof back on. All of the interior and electronics would get wet and ruined.

I guess if you can afford this car, you can just afford to have someone follow you around with a large umbrella in case it rains, and have them take off and put on the roof for you. The Agera is so much easier. Pop up 3 clips on the inside of the car and you are done. Why can't it be that simple, Pagani? Of course I will probably never have to worry about it. Probably won't ever be rich enough to buy one.

I'll be honest I like this car but I would just buy the coupé. I don't like the look of the snorkel just sticking out without the roof and the method to remove the roof is really tedious IMO. Otherwise awesome video!
