In this video, the homeowner rented a rug doctor pro carpet shampooer to clean up some pet stains and tough carpet stains in the high traffic areas of the carpet. This is a different type of rug doctor rental than the one where we cleaned the whole apartment. The Rug Doctor Pro is designed to remove tough carpet stains and clean heavy-use areas, not the entire room. As you can see in this video, it would be difficult to clean a room with the Rug Doctor Pro.
To get the best results in cleaning tough carpet stains, I highly recommend vacuuming the carpet first and then pre cleaning the heavy stained areas with a damp rag or spray bottle with some of the carpet cleaning solution mixed in. Let it set for a few minutes before using the Rug Doctor to remove the tough carpet stains. If the stains still exist, just repeat the process. Removing difficult carpet stains can take several attempts to get the entire stain removed.
