How to remove vertical blinds 

Thank goodness for this video. I thought of enrolling into Mechanical Engineering PhD just to remove this damn thing

I've literally been waiting on my husband to take these blinds down so we can finally install our curtains! Today I've had enough and decided to do it myself! This tutorial has been my life saver because I thought this task was going to be tough. Thank you!

For reference, to put the rail back on, click the front in into the rib, then push the back on.

I was suffering this morning trying to take my vertical blind out. My tab was not in the back, but flush to the wall. I took a plier tip (no screwdriver handy) pressed the tab and it fell down. For what it is worth, I had one tab in the middle to remove as well, same idea. Thank you! You made a very professional and helpful video. I gave you a thumbs up. Thanks, one of the screws on my vertical blinds had come loose the end where you pull on the cords... of course that wasn't working... I had to remove all the slats first, then your video helped me unclip the track at the top so I could drill a new pilot hole for the concrete anchor. They're now rock solid, thanks for this video.

Thank you for your demo! My dad and I have fixed a blind that was broken from 15years ago😂 We fixed it today but struggled with taking the blinds down (the easy part) . You’ve been very useful and now we have a working blind !

Bill, that was great. I'm 73 and have new hurricane windows coming and have to remove these vertical blinds in my condo. I ALWAYS have hated these blinds. Now I can get them down and decide on venetian blinds or drapes. Thank you.

important - there is also a THIRD clip in the middle. important - when pushing the clip upward, TILT the mechanism downward to release. Otherwise the video was helpful.
