How to remove white background in silhouette design studio 

I have watched so many videos on creating a transparent background , and I have never had any success. I tried today following along step by step with your video, and it worked!!! Thanks for the quick & simple tutorial!!

I know this is an older video, but thank you! I have struggled with removing white backgrounds and bits from within an image. You explained it more simply than so many others.

What your settings on the colors

I see my high pass says off. So why isnt it working for me. I tried several times. After I click trace and detach it spins and spins then jumps back to my design and removes the trace. It does not detach. I am gonna try a different image. I just tried my logo

Help, All ok till I make compound path then I lose everything apart from the outline? What am I doing wrong please?

I follow you step by step by when I go back to make compound path my desighn goes away and leaves only the trace version.

Hello. Why this does not work with words that you traced and detached that have white in-between the loops? Every time I made compound path it deletes the word and the only thing left is the tracing of the word.
