tracing and separating an image in silhouette studio

You know , I just got my machine a week ago , I am brand spanking new to Cameo , I was / am a Cricut user . I use both machines . But the Silhouette studio is a new and confusing program 🤷🏻‍♀️, I’ve been trying to find a video to try and help me seperate an image and so far all the other videos , no offense , are treating people like they are already skilled in this program . So when I came across this video and followed it !!! I was like are you kidding me?? How simple was that !! Thank you for this plain and simple tutorial , straight to the point !!

Good tutorial if you doing something basic, but I have something that seems like it should be easy but I cant seem to get it wot work right. To me the design space is very difficult to use. Pretty frustrating so far trying to do layers with The Cameo
