Nxsssav valdez I tried it because I figured it was just water and it worked omgggg when I was peeling it off all the stains came to the top of the paper and my vans are super white now 😱😱😱🤪🤪🤪
Y’all I tried this on my white slip on vans because I used bleach and it turned them yellow just dip toilet paper in warm water and wrap the shoe in it and let them dry.
Omg I was crying u saved my life I’m def gonna try this. The first day I wore my vans my dog spilt my moms coffee on them and I cleaned them and it turned yellow!!
i’m super late but hopefully you see this. i washed mine with dish soap cause i was scared to bleach them cause i thought they would yellow. so i scrubbed the WHOLE shoe with the soap and after when they were still wet they looked really white and then i set them over my register/air vent overnight but when i woke up they were dry but they were yellow all over! idk what to do and if you see this do you know if this will work ?
Yoo,how long do you let it dry? So I tried this,and it worked. I literally tried everything the baking soda and peroxide method,alcohol,vinegar,bleach everything and nothing worked. I tried this and let it dry overnight and the stains came out but ima try it again one shoe still has a little. Third attempt,one shoe is whiter than the other smhh.
If you wash the shoe completely and the sole of the shoe is wet, are you concerned about black mold? Black mold is dangerous. I know you can hold the shoe upside down to let the water out but still.
Yes I only used water, the paper to prevent the yellow stains like the first time I washed my shoes I let air dry and they turned yellow :( so I did the method and it removed the stains 😲 how you try it out
trying this out right now, i'll update to let you guys know. 1 - so before i saw this video i tried scrubbing my shoes with baking soda and water and detergent. 2 - i saw this video after washing my shoes. my shoes have yellow stains and green detergent stains still. 3 - my shoes are soaked in water, i tried to empty out most of the water. I'm trying this method rn. i just dipped toilet paper in warm water and put maybe 4-6 layers on my shoes. ill update tomorrow night! (ps im letting them dry on a towel in my closet bc last time i let it dry near the window in my garage and it turned yellow) UPDATE: lmao im so sorry i didnt update but i just did it again recently but it actually works! i let it dry for for 3 days and peeled the paper off and my shoes literally look clean and new. i swear it works and i swear by this method now. it got the yellow stains and green detergent stains off and im surprised that just water and toilet paper worked to get the stains off. LOL im sorry i updated like 7 months later but i still use this method and definitely recommend it.
y’all I got 13 hours before I gotta wear my white slip on vans to a party I cleaned them with bleach cus I thought it would make them white but they are yellow ! I scrubbed with warm water & dish soap a few times and just did the toilet paper & put it under my bed , it’s 4:41 am rn the party is at 6pm so I will update before I’m going to the party and see what happens!
@@linseyortiz6926 yes it worked ! It removed the majority of the stains, but theres still somewhat yellow at the front of the shoe. Just make sure to clean it again with shoe cleaner and throw it in the washer and dry and itl be good as new :)
Berry Dusk it will fade the black..for checkered vans you might want to get that wax stuff that’s waterproof and stain proof..idk what it’s called but I know there’s stuff like that for shoes

The sun is why it turns out yellow, since you’ve cleaned the shoes just grab some 🧻 and proceed with the method. Make sure to let the dry inside after that make sure the toilet paper is hard the take it of and the paper should have absorbed the yellow stains
Just grab a bucket of water and soap and a toothbrush *use circular motions* to get any dirt of your shoes after that get your toilet paper make sure you tap the toilet paper to your shoe so it can soak up any yellow stains.
Mariam Sharife I hand washed, I grabbed a bucket with water and soap, use a brush to really get any dirt off the shoes and then proceed with the toilet paper
Elyna._.marie j it worked a lottt , my vans had hella yellow stains, but I didn’t let it fully dry so there was a very faint spot of yellow but I did again and let them fully dry and it worked
