This short video is on how to restore closed Safari tabs in iOS devices like iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. Its actually very simple. All we need to do is long press on the plus button located at the bottom middle of the iOS Safari browser. To see plust button to reopen closed Safari tabs we need to tap on tabs button first.

How can you restore though multiple tabs that have been removed automatically by the iPad? I think mine did it with 100+ pages as part of the settings function that removes them after they haven’t been viewed for awhile. I don’t know why I did this, as I had chosen for it to be done manually, yet they are still all gone. Do you know how to do this?

@@yusufsm3578 hummm yep it work on iPad and iPhone (I don’t have Mac then I can’t test) but it take a while if you have many page like me : -Press for 2s (long press) the + button of safari -You will see all page who ||has been close recently|| (But it will show you only 200 page max…) If you don’t want this to happen again I can recommend somethings: -Long press on the book button -chose save all your page Now next time it happen you check your signet ^^ (But I recommend to save really often if your reading a page to keep the page 😉)

I have the exact same question. I think my iPad automatically closed a bunch that I hadn’t opened for a while, even though I had chosen to not to do that and I would have to do it manually! I need to know how I can restore them.

Uh there should be a recently closed tabs at the top left of the safari browser page. Hold the plus sign, or the add a tab button, and it should show all of the tabs that were closed or deleted. It would take a long time to get them all back, just because of the amount of tabs you would have open, but just know that it is possible.

I literally have 500 tabs open and closed all of them lol I’m not going through this much effort to re open them I’ll just open new ones lol I still have 267 open in my private browser anyway so I didn’t lose all of them they should make a way to restore all of them at once

This does not work for Private mode. There's no way to do that. The very nature of Private mode in Safari for iOS, or any other browser, is that once you close it then it isn't saved in History, no cookies or other website data are remember, and it is like you never opened the page. That's one of the things you use Private mode for. So there's no way to do it.
