This. Is. Glorious. 🙌 I love watching you go through your zoning and planning processes. And those deep draw containers ... sooo satisfying. Practical, efficient AND beautiful 👏👏
You all prolly dont give a damn but does anybody know of a way to get back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid forgot the login password. I would appreciate any help you can give me!
Thanks for this video! Your pantry shelves are just like mine. There will be a new Container store opening up next month in my town and that's where I'll be headed! Thanks for these wonderful ideas!
hey, I like many uni and college students are required to move out of our dorms at the end of the year, personally I will be placing my tings into storage while other takes them all the way home, can you possibly make a video about moving/smart storage for an extended period of time. Thank you so much (love your work)
Hi Ebba! We're actually hoping to do some college dorm organizing videos down the road - possibly this summer. Long-term storage is a great idea to add to that list, thank you!
Thank you for also demonstrating real life! Dropping things, overfilling things, #CANrelate! Love it all thank you so much! Quick question, how do you clean the baskets?
Thank you Kira! We always get a few clumsy outtakes from every video :) Since we tend to just store dry goods in the baskets, vacuuming with a handheld attachment works great.
I like the container for your produce (onion, garlic and potatoes) - can you share where did you buy it? Btw I love your organization style - thanks for the ideas!
I’m obsessed with looking at beautiful pantries! This is beautiful. Any tips for what to do with deeeeeeeeep pantry cupboards? We have 2 double-door full height cupboards that are 24” deep. If an item makes it to the back of the cupboard, it might never be seen again! I have to crawl on the floor to see what’s on the bottom shelves. Finding a can of chick peas took like 10 mins because I had to take dozens of cans out to be able to find what I needed. Help!
You're one of us Stephanie! We love a good pantry :) Deep shelves and cupboards are tough, but totally doable! If you haven't looked into pull-out shelving, that might be a great solution -- you can get pre-fab ones installed at a lower cost, or have custom ones built to your cupboards. But if that's not feasible we have a few product recommendations! This is one of our FAVORITES for deep spaces, especially corners. It's a 21" spin tray, which should work perfectly in your cupboard and give you the accessibility you need: bit.ly/2YXXhOf You could also consider deep baskets with labels on the front, so you'll know -- and be accountable too -- exactly what's inside: bit.ly/2IbF9HD Send us any pantry updates!
Loved this video! I am currently working On organizing my own kitchen and it doesn’t have a pantry! Do you have any suggestions where you would put pantry items in a small kitchen?
Hi Courtney! We absolutely get that - Joni herself doesn't have a pantry :) Do you have any kitchen cabinets that you can use as a pantry space? We actually did a video around that here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YwqCZzPqTJE.html
This was a great video, it made it all very real and was Very helpful, big thank you Kitt! Just wondering - do you ever use or recommend turn tables for along shelves (for easy quick access for kids or tired adults?!) not just in the corners?
Hi Elenia! Absolutely - they are great in any area that you want/need easy access to. Also check out divided turntables, they are excellent for a kids snack area!
I wish my pantry could look like that. Mine is the size of a closet with wire shelving, so I end up using small bins. What are the containers you used for the flour, sugar etc? I really need to get those!!
hi I live in England and for us having a pantry is quite uncommon so for me at least have to find space in my small kitchen for pots pans spices can snacks etc do you have any advice?
Hi Rebecca! Oh that is tough - we recently did a video where we used a cabinet instead of a pantry, which you might find helpful, since that home had a similar issue. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YwqCZzPqTJE.html We would recommend using any vertical space you can in your cabinets, by implementing shelf risers or expandable shelves, like this: amzn.to/2KIPqv2 Adding wall storage is also a great option, for smaller items like spices or mugs. And if there are any items you can edit out - products you aren't using or food items you're unlikely to eat - that will help free up space for your essentials. Good luck - we're sending good vibes to your kitchen!
@@PracticallyPerfect thank you they are very helpful tips and ill make sure to keep them in mind when I next organise! I love your videos and they actually really motivate me to get up and organise which is something I struggle with often. I checked out the video and it was very insightful I like the idea of baskets to not lose things in the back and the spinning trays! thank you and keep up the good work :)
Hi Kelly! It's always tough when there isn't an agreed upon folding style in a household. Let us know how we can help, we'd certainly love to offer any tips we can!
Sorry, you probably get asked this 50 times a video, but I'm a new subscriber so I haven't seen it yet. How natural is stuff like this for you both? Me and my gf are NOT naturally organised, and obviously with two unorganised people living together, things get very messy very quickly. I subscribed to the channel for help and tips (and so far it's been very helpful), I'm trying to be organised (because I have to now my mess affects her) but it's like pushing water uphill :/ Are you and Jo naturally organised or did you have to learn it?
Hi Daniel! First, thank you so much for subscribing, we love knowing that our tips are useful! We are both very organized at heart, so much of it was natural for us. But NO MATTER WHAT, organization definitely requires learning, adapting and ongoing maintenance - it's a long-term commitment. (One that we think is so worth it, though!) And we both have family members that operate differently, so there's a lot of give and take in our households. Cohabiting means even more adjustment, but becoming more organized is absolutely doable. A lot of it is about building habits, and it sounds like you're on the right track :) We recommend starting small, with tasks that have a visible impact so you can feel good about your progress and feel inspired to continue. We have tips on our blog as well, if you want to check out more: practicallyperfectla.com/2020/01/22/how-to-create-organizing-habits/ Let us know if you have more questions!
