If you already know how to get to the 72-pin connector, feel free to skip to 9:45.
In this vid I will show you how to take apart your Nintendo console and repair the 72 pin connector. This will fix 90% or more of Nintendo problems. This method does not involve any complicated tools or boiling methods.
If any part of the video is missing various auto, a sound track was removed by Nintendo

My first thought (before noticing the name of the channel) after seeing all the bottles was "He must live in WI" haha. Great video! Thank you for creating it

The tip about that plastic tab for the tray under the board is something that fucked me over for years. I thought it was just "like that" and I always just loosened the screws until the thing latched. Thought I knew what I was doing this whole time lol

This is great. Tried replacing my Pin connector but it was a dud so gave the original connector a small cleaning but didn't push up the pins and it does work a bit better now. Seeing you push that game in and seeing it grip the connectors made me want to try it myself. Hopefully the games load flawlessly, or better after this but great video.

Yep, first I would just make sure your games are cleaned. If that doesn't work, go through this and you should be set to go.

This didn't end up working for me sadly, so I'm gonna try ordering a replacement 72 pin connector and hoping that'll work

@@0neDoomedSpaceMarine it did work! I bought a replacement 72 pin connector on eBay and it worked perfectly

Why do you raise the pins?

The pins get loose over years of use. Raising them ensures a proper connection again.

@@GamingWisconsinbly Do you think I should risk doing it myself or just sell the console as faulty? I am scared doing it myself because I don't think I have a small enough tool for it. I know the pin connector probably works because I tested a couple games before it stopped working.

@@WillyTung You could always just try the boil method. It's easier and won't ruin anything. Doesn't make the connection as tight, but some people swear by it and I've used it from time to time.
