This video was FANTASTIC. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I use Teflon tape AND pipe dope and don’t over-tighten the drain in my Triton sand filter. I came here because I’ve always scooped the sand out when changing the sand, and someone always tells me to just remove the entire plug. I’ve always been afraid to do that and I’m glad I never did. By the way, ballsy move with that hole saw Well done- I know how much those wander without a drill bit in the center. You made it look easy.
