As well as educational, I find this to be very relaxing to watch. I’d say this is unintentional ASMR. Would have liked to hear the amp after the repair, as I’m a guitar player as well.
Hey man ,,you are good content. I love tube amps and repair vids. But I am a hobbyist. I'm interested in builds, component choice AND WHY, . Please continue posts and do demo's! I know you have some nice guitars!! Errr, I can tell you matriculated under Lee Jackson. Your process is very simular but you pride yourself on clean and neat in your builds. I'm a stickler for best practice. For reliability I think establishing solid mechanical connection before soldering is important. I notice you and Lee insert and solder. For hard use stage amps that can be o.k. I guess. I'm not an experienced builder. Mil spec and such. Not going on the battle field.
