I have a problem on my psp 3000 analog stick. They really made repairs and part replacement harder and risky with psp 3000 unlike in earlier models. Anyway, i would like to know the size of the screws on psp. Thanks.
Hello, I am trying to figure out what I need to repair on my PSP 3000 that I have. You see it was part of the Rachet and Clank Bundle and got it the year it first came out on Christmas. In 2012, I dropped it in the bathroom while at trade school and the screen would not come on... Now it is 2016. A year ago I took it to a teacher and he said to replace the screen but I didnt mess with it until now. Not only is the screen still black, but there is no sound, and when I put one of my UMDs into the tray and try it, it sounds as if the system is having a hard time reading it, like it makes two click noises, momentary silence then it starts to spin as if it were trying again. I don't know if I should buy the new screen or just invest in another psp. I really dont want to get another one since I have an attachment to the one I have now.. le sigh, sorry for the long story but, any suggestions?
Could you guys do another video on how to replace plugs. I opened it come to find out that i had dropped and the video ribbon cable plug had snapped off main plug is okay though. Its just the little on that broke
Hi, I broke the small clip that holds the screen small cable, and the one of the analog stick, well they are not broken I just separated them from the board, is there a way I can put them back? they're fine cuz i tested them.
my arrow keys arent working on my psp and i havent dropped it or anything but i saw a yahoo answer which said its either broken or dust is stuck inside but i'll open and see what happens after i clean out any dust if there is and if it works again
ok so a few years ago I fully replaced my cracked screen and was able to view the whole lit up game screen again and was so happy. but after putting everything back together my psp 3001 can only turn on via ac power, it will no longer take batteries rather charged or half charged. I'm assuming I may have done something wrong and not sure what my next step is or what I should redo or replace.
I have a back light fade problems. And I think it has something to do with the RF Shield inside my psp, I tried attach a piece of leather strip on the RF Shield metal plate but it doesn't work. I had seen tutorials and people saying that method work for PSP 2000. What is the problem actually? When I open up my psp 3000 and try to find out the problem, I found out that whenever I fold up my LCD screen, and turn on my psp, the screen works. But when I fold down the LCD Screen back into the psp(while the psp and screen was still on),When the screen applied pressure to the RF Shield, the screen fade of and remain black. What is the problem actually? How does the RF Shield Work actually with the LCD Screen and Motherboard?
I have a problem with my psp, the psp is shtting down after few minutes even if his battery is full and although i replaced his battery the problem still exist, if the psp is connected to the chrager the psp isnt shutting down. What do you think is the problem?😔

Recently, I've been playing on my PSP and I noticed three horizontal graphical error lines. I decided to replace the screen with a brand new one (it was pretty old and dusty), so I opened the PSP, removed the sockets attached to the LCD screen and reconnected the same screen to see if it would work just in case. After doing so and reassembling it, upon switching it on, I could hear the music upon boot up but no video was displayed. Any tips?
