How to Repair a Winch Cable

Ever break a winch cable or need an extra recovery strap? Here I show you how to fix a broken cable, or you can use the same method to make extra recovery straps (cables) of any length you like. Remember, it is always best to replace a damaged cable for safety, and never reuse it. All repairs and modifications should always be done by a professional. Please be careful if you ever use this, use a cable damper when winching or pulling, there is always a risk of the cable re-breaking and stay well away of the area in the event of a re-brake. Remember, if you repairing a broke cable or making a separate line from old, broken, or new stock you are doing it at your own risk.
