Thanks got the video! Did you find a specific hanger labelled to fix this issue or did you just find one that looked like it would fit? If so which one? I looked at the Scott hangers on soshangers and didn’t see anything for that year of CR1.
In the web page whas the list of compatible frames, but i ask them any way to confirm. Unfortunally i think they stop produce those, but ask for some forgoten box. This fix Is stil working at this date, very good replacemnt
Does the rear wheel actually fit into the dropout? It looks as though the opening for the wheel looks slightly off from the frame and the new dropout...or maybe it's simply the angle of the video. Thanks for sharing!
Hi, if you have love for the frame and tools, you can buy any similar hanger, cut the broken hanger and soldering the new one. but safety first in mind I buy new frame
@@GabrielSalazarSoto thanks I've looked through all of their options and they don't have anything that looks like a fixed derailleur retrofit like this. Nor do they have anything for my model :( 1985 Cannondale Tour 800
I just had my chain break and rip the derailleur off my 2006 CR1.The hanger is toast. Do you have the measurements for the part you got? I know a few machinists that could possibly fab something for me, unless anyone knows of anything else that would work that's available to buy. I really want to keep using the frame.
@@sophiekirkman6963 I took it to a bike shop that was able to find a place in the northeast US that cut out the bent part and installed a derailleur hanger. I can't remember the name of the shop that did the work right now but if I do I'll leave another comment with it.

They're really great bikes and I know how bummed out I was when mine tore itself apart so I'll get a hold of the shop and ask them to look up which place they parted the job out to. My bike is running great. It shifts perfectly and you wouldn't be able to tell it was ever repaired unless you already knew. I couldn't be happier with the job they did. I'll give them a call tomorrow and post a comment with the info here and they'll be able to get you back on the road.
