How to Repair Folding Side/Wing Mirror not Closing or Opening on a 2011 GE8 Honda Fit Jazz 

Thanks for this. With mine the cog was split on one side only. I tried epoxying it back together (and infilling the internal gaps) and replacing, which worked once but presumably resplit and back to square one. Have 3d printed some new cogs as there are a number of templates available for free online, but given it takes so long to replace, and you need to fully re-assemble before you can actually test the change, I'm hesitant to try again.
