Thanks this was exactly my problem. No error code on machine, just motor was making very weird sounds and not turning properly. I thought it was bad bearings, then bad computer controller, but finally it was just bad speed sensor! Thanks
thank you very much, i fixed my washing machine 12/22/2020 using your video. I repaired the faulty sensor with a 320ohm resistor. Thank you very much and have a nice Christmas to my friend
i had 2 bad hall sensors, i removed "good" 680 ohms from one unit, and the bad from the other and was able to get a working sensor from the operation. my guess is large laundry loads putting a strain on those esistors (depending on the direction the drum is turning) and once they open from high heat, your done, but really not hard if you know you to R&R SMT resistors. great video here, gave me the confidence to give it a try and my LG washer is working again. just measure across each of the resistors, it obvious if they are good or bad even while in circuit. GL all
This helped fix the machine until I get my new hall sensor tomorrow. First I measured my board thinking the same two resistors would be toast -- My two bad 680ohm resistors were in the middle of the PCB board next to the single capacitor, not the ones on the opposite side of the connector.
Ha! Amazing... I had no idea the encapsulation was so poor. It pulled right out. Same issue with mine, replaced with a pair of nice big 680 ohm thru hole just like yours. I suspect it will last years more compared to those tiny 681 SMT resistors. Thanks again!
I asssume the so called RO means "resistor output", output resistor. I assume if you are gonna have this RO thing, then there must be an RI ones too. Isn't that the lingo of the inner circle, you know the separate the educated from the rest?
All of my Resistors R015, R025, R035, R045 are (smd 681) 681 Ohms. - I wanted to ask that why did your Resistor R045 measure 340 Ohm (It should measure 340 if you have short circuited both resistors to make parallel connetion)? - WHile soldering did you short circuit the R015 with R025? If not then where does your external resistor connects? Thank You
Hello my friend I need your help In addition to the resistors I have a damaged capacitor, can you give me the values to replace the capacitor? I appreciate your help
