I have same washer. Floor got flooded about 3 inches deep. Washer turns originally but won't turn in reverse unless I give it a push. I was thinking I should clean all the contacts and squeeze some graphite on the moving parts and check the wire harness with a little volt meter to see if anything burnt out. What would you suggest?
Thank you very much. Because of your video, I put the belt back on and fixed the screw that fell out! My Zeny is working! I really appreciate your help.
Well after a little over 2 yrs mine finally went out the motor was fine and I didn't know where to start.. I'm so happy I found this video ...Thanks for sharing .
Thank you for this video where you changed the belt on the twin tub washer. I had mine in the tub, left for awhile and the tub flooded so the washer was sitting a about a foot of water. The spin side works but the washer side doesn't and you can hear the timer ticking. I will let it dry out for a while and if it doesn't start working I will check the belt. Thank you for all the information.
I've repaired this washer before. You didn't reset the pulley on the motor. You have to untighten the set screw on the motor pulley and theN push down on the pulley until you can see motor shaft sticking out and then tighten set screw.
I have the zokop had to change the drain hose on it because it cracked and was leaking... And the old hose drained really slow as the original hose was by the manufacturer bent in like 4 spots inside the machine.. To replace it was a real b--- because they not only clamped it to the drain pump but glued it on as well!! And i had to squeeze my one had in that tiny little access port to do it.. You think the manufacturer would be a little more repair froendly especially with the drain hose since it is thin cheap plastic.. you think they would know it would probably need replacement.. I put a proper heavy grade washer hose on it.. I had to drill a new exit hole at the bottom of the machine because the hose couldn't be bent up the way the other was.. But... i got it. and... The machine works perfectly now.. No problems with the belt though... At least net yet anyway.. And i use it a lot.. And with the new drain hose it drains like a normal washer now.. With the old hose it kept stopping as it drained and only a trickle of water came out as it drained.. (And no it wasn't the pump.. it was becase the hose was bent in like 4 spots to turn it in all directions inside the machine..) The washer is great though.. I actually absolutely love it.. It cleans the clothes incredibly well.. And since the hose replacement, it works beautifully now..
Wich way do you turn the screw on the inside of the basket to take it off? Like the screw in the middle of the spinning thing you were stopping with your hand. Wich way does that screw need to be turned to get that part off?
Would you know about the Timer for the wash side?? Mine worked..till it didn’t. Grrr it won’t Time nor will it reverse the agitation. I can Lightlyyyy turn to almost 3 and it agitates or rather Twist the light load into knots. Thanks
My problem is that I have to keep the button pressed for it to spin. How do you think I can solve the problem with the centrifugation?. It spins perfectly as long as you hold the button.
My washer fell and now both spinners won't work how can I get the washer and the spinner to work again.the belt is still brand new not sure if it just completely broken or I really do need a new belt how can I tell?
Can the 3 screws your removed with the socket be replaced? If so what kind of screws are they and would a place like Lowe's or Home Depot have em? I just got my Zeny and noticed that one of the washers from the bottom fell
I was sooo excited to fix my non-spinning Kuppet spinner side after watching this at 2am. I ran to the bathroom this morning with my tool kit and I couldn't believe there was clothing stuck between the wall and the inner drum. After getting it out with a clothes hanger, I crossed my fingers and turned it on... crickets. 😭😭😭 I removed the back plate and checked the belt. It's fine. When I turn in the washing side, the belt moved perfectly. I can't find any reason for the spinner to not be spinning. 😭😭😭 I can't afford a new one, so I will keep searching for a solution.
I work at a warehouse with the most kick ass boss and I knew If I took this to him he would figure it out and he did. Something so minute caused the motor to go out in the spin cycle side. Apparently there is a little stop/start lever pully behind the knob that controls it and if you attempt to stop the cycle before time or naturally if it came from the manufacturer tightened too tight it will start to wear out the teeth on the motors wheels because essentially that’s what keeps them turning together and the teeth is what stops the cycle. If those are worn down you fry the motor and all it can do at that point is make a noise like the lil engine that could but go nowhere. So it would cost almost $100 to replace the part🤔 I paid $88 total for this on eBay from manufacturer anewday. They refunded me rather than replacing. I was still gonna try to fix but my manager ended up getting his wife’s Walmart account and used her points to get me a brand new one🙏🤲🏾 he looks like the real life Santa Claus and mrs claus could be his wife but he is real life an angel walking amongst us and he should be posting a video on how to repair using a scrap yard motor off of a lawn mower or something similar to show you it can be done as he is now fully invested in this project😂 so just keep searching or I will update soon
I have a costway and it looks exactly the same in there . I have only had mined for 45 days an it just stopped working (the wash side) so I'm going to buying a belt. But I wanna no it still makes noise just doesn't spin when turned on do u think its the belt?
@@brendadavisscrapitydoda1284 good luck Brenda. My washer still does not work. I allow my clothes to soak in detergent for 30minutes, rinse and spin dry. It does the trick!
Hey man did this end up fixing it? Mine spins but doesn't spin fast enough. I don't know anything about this stuff. So any help or advice would be appreciated!
I have a tacklife & everything works completely fine however at the top of my machine next to the wash knob when the washer shifts it’s like a blue light kinda like a spark & that’s scared tf outta me so I stopped it what causes that to happen & should I be concerned bc I can’t find any information on that
I have a question, my mom has one, works great, one problem is, the ringer part, where you out the clothes innto ring out the water its not turning, could you help?
My washer washes fine but the spinner works sometimes and sometimes it does not. When it does not it agitates super aggressively shaking the machine but when it's working properly it doesn't shake the machine I can actually hear it just spinning....do you think I need a new belt?
I've had one issue that turned into mess of issues, oops many hands in the cookie jar.. my bolts and rubber washers holding the motor need replaced now, mine did not come loose, do you have any suggestions or what can replace in a bind, any info deeply appreciated
Please help!! My portable washing machine's spin tub spins really slow and it makes a burnt rubber smell. How do I fix this and what's causing this smell???
So I have one like youres and both area stop working the number in my belt is 0-560E and I don’t find that one in Amazon can I still use the one you got . Help 😢
MY Castaway washer stop working. The motor is after few noises completely silent. Motor is "XD 90 wash" do you know were you can buy it. Alibaba can sell them for you but minimum 100 pcs. Any other place you mite provide.
OMG, it only takes 5 minutes to change. Open the back, lift the belt up and over the pulley. Take new belt and go back between pulley and motor and position it, and fit one side on pulley and feed it back on when turning. I am 64 years old and did it in 5 minutes with just a screwdriver to remove the back panel for access to the pulley
Hi any help would be appreciated my spinner has a weird noise coming out by the inside by the hose I can hear it to loud so I just stopp the spinner and I’m tempted to open it up and look inside it sounds like something broke off please help me with any information thank you.
Hello thank you for this. I changed the belt and did everything watching your video. When i turn it on it makes a loud noise and i cant see what it could be. I need help 😫 it is the same noise it was making before changing the belt. I tought it was the belt but i gues it wasnt. The old belt was in good condition too.
I wouldnt know what it could be without looking it. You need to make a video so I can see what it doing, If you fix the problem feel free to share with us. A warranty is good thing to have when buying this machine,
Hi mine had a very loud noise coming out by the motor and the hose I watched another video that wash showing how he opened the back of the machine took down the hose and there I found a dime in there and thank god my machine is working fine try to open yours and see what’s in there ok . Good luck
Hi I'm hoping someone sees this and can help. I had the same problem but the bottom of the machine has broken off. Like when he gets to the very last step. The white piece to the screws he's tightening have broken so I can't tighten it and I think that's the problem. Now the whole motor is lose, how can I fix that?
I got a zokpod washer from my cousin the dryer part is spinning as it should but when I use the washer part I turn the knob to wash u can hear the timer working and I looked at the belt it looks ok so I'm guessing it needs motor replaced wonder how hard or expensive it be do replace the motor but it don't spin or washer part at all can someone confirm my suspicions ?
Does the motor make any noise at all? It should at least hum. If there is no noise except for the ticking noise, it is likely an electrical issue such as a contact getting loose. If it hums but the pully does not spin, it's likely the motor run capacitor going bad or the motor itself starting to fail.
You can buy a universal extension hose. If you take that little hanger off the end of the existing hose then you can tape or use a clamp to affix the hose extension to that hose. This will only work if you are running the hose along the ground level, it will not work if you have to run the hose into a higher drain.
Hi, I'm having issues with the water from the washer side collecting into the spinning tub even though its below the cut off portion. Would you happen to know how to fix this issue? Thanks!
I had that issue twice turned out to be socks stuck in drain, first time sock made it to drain hose, second time they fell through opening between spinner and housing and were stuck in drain opening
I take socks out with a stick that i bought its called hair snake is used to unclog toilets or sinks but i use it for this because it happens a lot and i has helped me a lot.
I'm not sure what that would be with out looking at, have you looked in the inside?, you need to make a video of outside and inside so i can see what it is doing, make sure clothes not stuck in there. somewhere.
Just opened it and hooked it up I didn’t want water over the floor and put the whole thing in the tub and the bottom got wet I guess and that’s why it probably won’t work just got it and messed it up please help
@@quonnkoger1504 were you able to get it working? i got a zeny portable last week and neither sides function, the motor's running but seemingly not connected to either wheel. i took off the back, checked the hose, which is was shipper suggested.
Thank you! I have a similar machine that was gifted (broken) to me. I first had to fix the connection from the spinner to underneath, the little rubber piece that attaches to the bearing/shaft had come loose, once that was fixed I noticed it was losing traction quite easily (worn/loose belt) I had actually loosened the bolts you show in the video but it wasnt coming loose. Before I was going to take the whole thing apart I figured I'd look into it, found this video, and knowing that it does in fact loosen, I loosened the bolts more until I could tighten the belt by moving the whole assembly, did so and now it works perfectly! Do you have the part number for the belt, Im sure I'll need a new one at some point. Thanks again! Liked and subscribed
@@josephineedmonds4906 There are several videos on fixing that. But many need a new motor and i want to figure out where to get a new motor for the spin side.
Another possibility. When you turn the knob to drain mode, it pulls on a cable inside the machine that then lifts up a spring loaded valve to let the water out. The cable may have come loose.
Im not sure what that could be without looking at it , sounds like the motor, a switch, or something stuck around spinner, open the back and look very closely at things, if you buy another one , make sure you get to warranty plan.
