For the final touch you need to use a sponge wrapped with sanding paper and go all the way in one direction not back and forth so the grain is nice and even all the way, now you see the sanding marks.
It’s a Brushed Stainless Steel cooktop. All of it looks that way. If I kept using smaller and smaller grit it would have gone to a polished finish. Looks better than having gashes going the wrong way
Have you tried continuing on with maybe like a 600 then again with a 1000 and finish with a 2500? It’s amazing that you got that scratch out with the 180,220 and 320 but your result still has scratches in it. I think you could make it look factory new again if you continued on and finished with a 1000 or perhaps even a 2500. Let me know what your thoughts are on this. Thanks!
Did that really work ⁉️ Because I messed up My Favorite Aunt Stainless steel stove ( microwave) .... She is mad as hell .... I been cleaning her house.. Today I used one of the scrubbers with the course green side . I really messed up ... Does that really work ⁉️⁉️⁉️ You will be saving a life . 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Hi I didn’t go any finer since the rest of the top has a brushed finish look. What I will do next time is use a block of wood as the sand paper base and make sure I do straighter lines.
