Hi. Yes could be the same problem. Remove the airbag and test the horn switch pad wires, min 1:50.

@@efgarcia7354 i read somewhere to disconnect battery and wait 4 hours so air bag don't go off . can i just disconnect and go right to it.

Agree with you. Jeep and Ford offers new horn switches for some models, do the research for your model.

I have an '07 Grand Cherokee, the horn was going off randomly so I pulled the relay but the steering control module stays awake with the horn switch pressed so I had an over 1.5 amp parasitic drain. Darn near every time I have to work on this thing I come across something that makes me say WTF were they thinking.

@@smartliketruck Jeep is a little difficult to work with and not supposed to have a parasitic drain if you remove the horn relay. A cherokee 05-07 new horn switch is available for about $150 in any Mopar store.

@@efgarcia7354 On my Grand Cherokee the signal from the horn switch is actually routed through the CANBUS which then fires the relay to sound the horn. If the switch is stuck the system is smart enough to stop sounding the horn but the constant signal keeps the computer system awake. I just fixed my switch problem by giving a little more clearance between the airbag/switch and the outer cover, the switch itself wasn't the problem. The point of my reply was that simply pulling the fuse or relay may stop the horn from sounding but the problem can continue to manifest itself as a parasitic drain if your horn signal is actually routed through the computer system like in my 2007 GCherokee.

@@geraldc.37 This air bag cover with horn switch is available new for some earlier jeep models. I understand your comment but this channel have videos of cheapy repairs for personal use.
