How to repair the oscillating fan that cannot oscillate pirate-king studio

Thanks. I watched this to try to figure out how to remove the oscillator pull/push switch. On my fan (a US sold Windermere table unit) it doesn't unscrew and doesn't seem to want to be pulled, but I see you pulled hard and it popped off.

this is nice to know, now i just have to figure out how to remove the electronics in the way from the gears as i have a little more fancy fan and the cercet borde is over the cap for the gear xD

Hi! I just stumbled across your videos. Can you please tell me where I can find that black oscillating mechanism from taiwan? I have the same model, but mine broke, due to the fan accidentally being dropped on its back. Under what name can I search it? I've tried many combinations, but no luck so far. I'll greatly appreciate your help. Thanks!

I'd throw it in the trash before I'd go through all that
