If it's just the plastic hinge that breaks, glue it. Lepage bonding glue seems to be holding. Don't put glue on the porcelain. idk, but things that shatter have their own heat transfer rate and they don't like foreign objects glued to them which will challenge and stress that in one place. Overly cautious I know, but I experienced that with a reglue of my car rearview mirror, which admittedly underwent more extreme temperature changes.
