Brass doesn’t spark… most important feature

Since most welders only need to deal with B-size common fuel gas and oxygen hose fittings they will save money buying bulk stock of fittings and clamps only for that size and barbed fittings for both 1/4" and 5/16 ID B-size hose. BTW I always save the fittings off hoses I'm discarding to to age as spares. Jewelry, plumbing, "aircraft: etc torches of the smallest size often take A.

Another feature of using brass is that it won't spark or cause sparking.

Hi Dan, would I be able to do this for a propane hose to extend it? Or should I use the other fitting you mentioned in this video?

I've used those oetiker clamps to repair glycol lines for beer systems but I was taught to not have them directly in line and offset them by 90 degrees so it doesn't leak. Does the same apply here?

Doubling down on the being from around Pittsburgh with the IC beer i see? Those Standard/worm hose clamps suck wish the place i used to work used the other ones for our splices in air lines. Ran pneumatic banding tools that would destroy airline I swear I repaired air line 2-3x a week cause the barbs would cut the line cause of use and just gravity of the 20'+ lines on them.

Its definitely expensive for the whole set but you can order the size of clamp you need on amazon instead of buying the whole kit.

Have you ever used loctite on a hose clamp? Red permanent/blue not permanent etc...
