What maddens me most isn't my sin. It's not even fighting it knowing I'll fail. What kills me most is asking God to forgive me and asking Christ to wash his blood over my sin when I know I don't deserve it. Knowing full well that I do deserve hell or whatever comes my way. The guilt and shame of coming to ask Christ for forgiveness is what's the most painful to me. Some days I don't even feel like I'm honestly asking for forgiveness because I know I'll just mess up again. I feel like I'm wasting God's time and wasting Christ's forgiveness. However in that is where the glory and mercy of God is. Jesus is willing to forgive me even knowing how garbage I am. Knowing full well I deserve every bit of torture in hell and he still washes me of my sin. That realization kills me.
Repent means to turn away from, as long as you little by little turn from your sins, and ask Christ to forgive and CHANGE your heart its will be done i promise my brother. Know that your words are words I have thought but now I have turned from drugs and hate and violence and self mutilation. I was as lost as one can be almost and Christ in His mercy forgave me when I like you did not deserve it I became a new man, where the old man I was is dead, the new man in Christ I now live.
If you repent, it means you're not make sin anymore. If you still make a sin means you're not yet repent. If you kill people and you said repent and kill again. You are a liar.
Jesus Christ (The Eternally Existing Son of God, God The Son, Savior, Christ) promises eternal life ONCE you believe on him alone, he died for your sins, was buried, and rose again the 3rd day! Once Saved Always Saved! You can't lose salvation!

I say Lord, I am a sinner and I am weak. I suffer from addiction so eventually my strength fails. BUT in retrospect I have made huge huge strides in the right direction and the addiction is less and less. Getting to absolute zero... Thats another story. But I pray for forgiveness because I am weak, I know I am weak. I also pray for strength when I pray for forgiveness.
Remember… the closer you get to God, the dirtier you will feel, the more conviction you will feel but step back, reflect on your progress, give God the glory and share your testimony with Love! I know because I struggle too, but thank you Jesus for saving this sinner 🙏

I used to ask God to forgive me daily for smoking weed. Its been a week since ive laid it aside. God's grace is sufficient. He remains faithful when we don't. The Holy Spirit seals us until the day of redemption. May God get all the praise and glory!

As a addicted person I say: When the body and the irrational part of the brain takes over, we're sinning on purpose. But even in the worst addiction, there're times of mental clarity and reasonability, when you overview your life and the path you're taking, and you really want to leave addictions, obsessions, compulsions behind, no matter what it takes. I was placed into a company but I haven't got joining letter but other people got thier joining. I got angry and frustrated and I sinned again. With anger and i said so many words I'm depressed i can't control or understand myself. Idk if this sin is forgiven I did it willingly I'm scared god will punish it more
@@Vinee_vinny if you truly love the lord, Christ, with all your heart, mind and soul, He will always forgive you, because you're seeking Him, and trying to change. The Lord knows your heart. However, should you continue to sin and grieve the Holy Spirit (ignoring that voice you hear that says no, or stop, or dont continue this way) that is when the Lord will give you over to it, and you don't want that. Just continue to try and be continually growing....it'll all fal into place, and it won't be over night. It is a long and always lengthening road that you will never come to the end of until death or the rapture. And the negative feeling (depression, etc) that's your conscience grieving for the lord you love, and the Devil uses that to keep you down and from God's true love and forgiveness. Our growth is not simply to avoid sin, but to grow spiritually. Just don't let you sin sidetrack you from learning about Jesus and praying. Because you feel guilty, your faith and belief is already present. But don't dwell in your guilt. Ask for forgiveness and move on to try not to do it again. You will be tempted to your last breathe. Don't obsess about a lost battle, try to understand and win the war. God Bless , keep praying, keep reading your Bible, and always come back to Jesus, he has infinite grace. You'll find that the closer you get to him, the less often you will sin.
This sermon makes perfect sense, it reminds me of a dream I had after struggling with pornography, sleeping sad with a broken heart. So the next thing I knew, I was entering a room that looked like a football room, but it was a large party room, it was being decorated, the workers were all very busy, so I was in the stands with someone who was leading me to go to with the person responsible for all those workers, and instinctively in the dream, I already knew that this was Jesus, he was sitting in the stands, controlling every detail of the party. He wore traditional Israeli clothing, hair down to his shoulders. So, I went to Him to ask for forgiveness, but I also felt within myself that there was no true repentance. Then He, without looking at me, but focused on the party arrangements, said: "Every sin you commit unintentionally, I will forgive, but every sin you commit knowingly, then we will talk....." As soon as I said that, I woke up. and I understood the message very well...May the Grace of God always be with us while we are on this Earth.
This sermon is an accursed gospel. It's making salvation no longer a free gift from God. Before Jesus' sacrifice, Israelites offered animal sacrifices and followed the law for what they thought offered temporary forgiveness until the next ritual. The point of Jesus' sacrifice is that absolutely everything has been forgiven including all future sins, not just a percentage that Jesus tries to patch here and there. Sadly, Mar Mari teaches lordship salvation. If you listen to his teachings, you may not even believe the Good News. Being lukewarm means that you mix grace with works to earn eternal life rather than fully believing that Jesus paid for all sins, thus the wrath of God remains on you.

Meaning we never have to worry about our salvation again. You have tried all the gimmicks. You've jumped through all the hoops. You've gotten fairly good at doing spiritual gymnastics, but have you ever just tried resting? Resting in Christ and His finished work? Regardless of what the evangelicals and denominational churches tell us, the gospel is not repent and be baptized for the remission of sins. (Acts 2:38) It is not keeping the commandments and selling all your possessions (Matthew 19:16-21.) It is not he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved (Matthew 24:13.) The gospel of your salvation is: "Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel... By which also ye are saved,... how that Christ died for our sins... he was buried, and that he rose again the third day..." The word "gospel" means GOOD NEWS. And the good news of how God was "in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them;" has been overshadowed by the "Gospel Buffet" for far too long! It's time you ignore the buffet table and rest in this good news. This was VERY morale boosting... but we still need to do our best to avoid sin. Hell is very real and we must always remember every sin takes us away from God's grace. Thankfully we have his forgiveness, but again, it doesn't mean we can rest on our laurels.
I have lost pretty much everything in the last year and a half hit a deer on a motorcycle 2nd time so almost lost my life then my wife got sick and has liver and kidney failure so we do Dialysis three times a week I even lost a vehicle and my house but I prayed faithfully and I am still alive warm full and we have a car to get us to appointments! Money doesn’t make happiness!

Repentance is a change of mind, spirit, and heart that leads to a change in our action and behavior. We cannot sin with God and Jesus living in us, and we in them, as sin would drive them out..
See now sometimes I read the Bible that way and other times I’m like no even Paul admitted to having a sin nature. And I think that sin was condemned in the flesh hence why we get stripped of our flesh to be with God. Now I don’t understand some scriptures talking about how we don’t sin anymore but if we do we have an advocate with Jesus. How we are to pray for our brothers sins that don’t lead to death. So wouldn’t that mean those who still sin and aren’t headed to death are saved despite their sin meaning they’re still sealed with the Holy Spirit? Do you think any person has been able to be sinless at the point of receiving the Holy Spirit? Even Peter sinned afterwards. And Paul.. and Moses sinned yet was on the mount of transfiguration. I often get confused because scripture seems to speak a lot about how we don’t sin anymore and how God keeps His children from stumbling. Yet David sinned. Moses, Peter, me and everyone else. I fail all of the time and I get scared that I’m not saved. I try to make it right.. I do not understand. Are we perfect because we have Christs perfection imputed to us? Our sins are covered? The flesh weakened the law so the law was written in our hearts yet our flesh still does what it does. I never understand fully how to connect the scriptures. If we say we are without sins we are liars and make God a liar. Yet Christ calls us to be perfect.

I suffer deeply with repetitive sin it doesn't have as strong hold over me as it did but still digs its claws in when it can tempt me I love Jesus with all my being and often feel rotten I've given in again I start reading the scriptures and it worries me a lot that I've failed miserably.
Read Romans 8 and 1. John completely if you want to know the truth, because we Children of God can not sin as long as we stay in Jesus and we Children of God are reborn in Jesus = able not to sin, able to withstand every temptation by the Holy Spirit living inside of us. The old nature is dead, burried, we Children of God have a new nature in Jesus as soon as we are reborn.
@@michaelkindgottes why is it that when a believer says we are saved by grace then here comes someone like u saying we are not and u start quoting scriptures that u think say we are not saved by the grace of God . i can quote many scriptures that say that christians DO sin and we must be cleansed and forgiven CONTINUALLY throughout our lives . we do not instantly become sinless the day we get saved and yes believers often can and do commit sins knowingly beforehand that they were gonna sin , thats why its a sin , there are rarely accidental sins , most are done knowingly and even planned on in some cases but once the sin is over then a true believer will always continue to confess it to God and keep going forward .
You simply misinterpret what I wrote. I wrote as long as we stay in Jesus we can not sin and this is also written in the bilbe 1. John. We Children of God do not plan to sin and don't want to sin. There is no verse that says Children of God (those who have the Holy Spirit inside) who says we children of God do sin. But there are many who tells us that we are free of the power of sin because our old nature is burried by Jesus and we are thus able to resist all temptations and thus do not have to sin and we should not sin. And in 1. John God tells us that all Chidren of God can not sin in Jesus. And if someone does sin on purpose like you say then they do not know God and no Love is in them because God is Love. So, because I know the truth God tells us in 1. John I know that you don't know God and don't belong to God because you say you plan to sin. About the Verses you say, I can guarantee you they are used out of context. That is what the devil does, he uses a few verses out of context to tempt and misguide people like he did it with Jesus in the desert. And in our days he missuses Romans 7 (doing the bad I don't want to do) by telling this is what Children of God do but if you read Romans 6 and 8 you know that in Romans 7 it is about someone who is in the flesh or has the mind guided by the flesh = someone who is not in Jesus. God tells us through Paul in Romans 7 how it was as he was in the flesh. If you read the Acts you will see that Paul did the good and not the bad by the grace of God by the Holy Spirit who lives inside of him and this Holy Spirit also livs today in any Children of God because in Romans 8 it is written that all who belong to God have the Holy Spirit within and those who don't have the Holy Spirit are none of his. @@marleonetti7
@@michaelkindgottes all manor of sin shall be forgiven , not just accidental sins or sins that catch us off guard or innocent mistakes , all manor means all manor and if we confess our sins then he is faithful to forgive us and cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness . some people just take pleasure in hiding these scriptures from people and telling them that there is no hope and God will not forgive them , and that is the opposite of preaching the good news or the gospel .

I have a mental illness and I ask god to heal me but when the preacher said “if I heal you I’ll loose you” woke me up and made sense to me why god wouldn’t heal me cause I talk about it everyday to him, our relationship is based around my mental illness, so it sucks having it of course but I gotta remember it brought me closer to god

I struggle with addiction terribly! I have given up alcohol and marijuana. I have no desire for those substances. I also struggle with opiates. I fall short everytime i try to stop. I just wanted to share that. Thanks for reading my testimony.
I would love to hear a sermon on holiness… If we say that we are without sin, and the Truth is not in us, then how do we obey the command to be holy - unless it had to do with repentance as soon as God shows us our sins?

Glad to hear you make it very clear. I have tried and tried to explain this to people but they want to verbally attack me. They are so convinced Once Saved Always Saved and that it's perfectly fine to choose to Sin. They think they will never lose their Salvation. It goes to show the trickery of Satan when the End Times may be closer than we know. I do feel though, that we should definitely try not to sin. We know this will never happen, but we have to put forth an honest attempt to. This means we are trying to live right for GOD.

I would propose that if you have chosen to try to follow Christ, you are a Christian. We are all imperfect and "need to fix" how we are. Seeing that, inviting God into our heart and making an effort to be better than we were yesterday (and we will fail at that more than we would think is acceptable) is what God wants from us.
