Over time, they do change components as new models are made. Were you able to test it to see how it works? Where did you order it from? And were you able to match up the model numbers to ensure it's the correct part?
Is there anything else I could check? Dryer is not heating. I’ve changed the following: heating element, dryer thermostat, thermal fuse, and thermostat kit.
I also have a Maytag Continental slightly newer than this one buy about a year or so and I'm wondering if the heating element model is the same as this nonetheless this video is extremely thank you so much for making this video 👍
Most likely, but I'd make sure by putting in your units number into the search feature and ensure it's the proper part. Sometimes they change drastically between years and sometimes its the same thing they've had for years. So be safe and find out which part fits exactly for your unit. Best of luck on your fix!
I was going to test for resistance but after I saw the part. I knew it was bad. I should have shown that in the video! Hope you are able to fix your issue!

If you electrical connectors are not fully seated in their clips then they could definitely be an issue. I did not see any fuses on my drier. I’d check all electrical to ensure it plugged into their clips correctly and if it’s not that then I’d try the heater element. Does everything else work besides the heat? Have you removed the old element? How does it look? Is anything broken on it?

1) no troubleshooting. What was the meter for? 2) stop calling things "this thing", show in closeup and describe what it is. You pried "something" off the old element and put it on the new one. I'm going to have to find another vid.
Sorry you did not find the video helpful. I was going to use the meter to check resistance but I could tell by looking at the element that it was the issue. Hope you found help somewhere else.
