Great video, just followed it and got it done in no time. I have one additional point though, when it comes to putting the latch back in, I was finding that the small 'anti slam' insert was popping off, because there isnt enough space for it to actually get past the hole in the long frame (if that makes sense), I tried it a number of times and it kept popping off.... the remedy = leave the insert off..... insert the latch as in the video, and then pull the assembly slightly away from the long frame so that you can get the 'anti slam' insert underneath, then pop it on whilst the latch is in situ..... great video though, I think the specs of my long frame make for a slightly narrower hole for the latch to go through.... no fault of the lock or video. NB - i ordered my lock from them and it arrived next day, great service.

Is there a way to get the spring reset if it moves?

at 3.24 mins there are x2 items down from your left them, mainly the furthest one away from your thumb. Is this item available to purchase as mine is worn and the square edge that is supposed to fit into the latch is flat and does not fit, I believe its a plastic item. Thanks

You cannot repair the gearbox however if you are lucky there may be a gearbox only replacement part rather than the full lock. If you can email us some images we will be able to advise options

Sorry but the door & window lock manufacturers unfortunately do not supply, separate parts for the window and door lock hardware parts. They insist on purchasing boxed parts only so it would mean robbing a bit off a full part making it then UN-usable. The only items that they do supply is the centre door lock gearboxes as a full unit
