Cheers for the video, I cracked the subframe on my R6 after a track mishap and I was dreading replacing it. Was pleasantly surpirised how easy the replacement process was.
I need my self a subframe I have that same problem with mines broke same place just like yours I got hit while stopping at a stop sign and now the bolts are stripped on the bike can't get the subframe out don't know what to do 2 bolts are loose but they keep turning and don't come out and 2 I stripped can't get them out they are really stuck from the impact...any recomendations.
sounds like the ones that keep spinning might have had the thread hold snap or something but as for stripped screws i use this one kit i find its way better than the ones that screw in, this one you hammer in and the blades grip the bolt better. www.amazon.com/Extractor-Damaged-Household-Professional-Electrician/dp/B07TZGJ8TS/ref=asc_df_B07TZGJ8TS/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=475689981997&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=4908654035039595072&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9027630&hvtargid=pla-913647021739&psc=1
@@GunninWithBubba Just doing a quick search looks like clean non-bent ones are around the $200ish mark, that sounds about right, I got my 08 subframe for $180 without the battery tray. But you can also search R6 forums, they always have some guy parting out a bike and normally forum members get first dibs.
