Performance Upgrades: R6 Tail Bodywork 

I've watched more than 20 videos trying to find out how to remove those pull pins! Thank you!! You are the only one who has described them.

Removing the lock: "There are little spacers you have to capture! You can't lose it, make sure it goes back in its spot!" *Precedes to knock it down into the middle of the bike.* I was rolling

nice job, I had a similar incident and just bought an aftermarket one piece race tail, and modified it to accept the brake light and licence plate. Much cheaper, lighter and simpler than the Yamaha option.

hi just wonder when putting my track faring on does it need anything under it to protect the battery and wiring and important stuff under there as it does not use the original seat it all 1 piece . thanks your vids r great help

Hey Dave good night..I had a Yamaha r6 that I have Ben working on for over 3 years now..I get all the parts it needed and it back up..it's running great and the things is in place..I am not getting horn,fans and no hight beem light..I'll like your take on it please thank you..

I recently looped my bike and my whole tail is broke off can that be fixed or is the bike totaled?

The screw makes its own thread into the receiving metal as it is turned. Hence self tapping terminology. The project GSXR had many video's made on it. You can see almost all of them on my website at feelthetrackdotcom under chassis set up videos or type in Dave Moss project GSXR in RU-vid.

It have one male connecter below the rectifier that I am trying to figure out what it goes to..everything else is in place..
