I know this video is 3 years old, but I’ve been searching for how to remove this EXACT system due to it being hard wired for a while now to no avail. Your video was very informative, and featured the exact system i’m trying to remove. It took no more than 15 minutes to get everything replaced. Thank you very much!

Lost me on power wires. Can you just not connect like zone wires? You seem to twisting and playing something over them. Totally confusing. Wire net?

Wire nuts your always twist the wires clock wise then put the right size wire nut and twist till the wires are twisted about 3 times and do a pull test on the wire nut
