How to replace solenoid on lawn tractors similar to Cub Cadet and John Deere.
Our Cub Cadet LTX 1046 KW lawn tractor was not starting but making an odd sound from underneath the seat and I found out that the solenoid needed replaced. Here I show you how to properly disconnect the battery and install the new solenoid. Wear safety glasses and gloves when doing this. I also show you how to bypass the solenoid if you need to start your lawn tractor before you get your hands on a replacement solenoid.
It's a pretty simple process but make sure to take a photo so you can remember how the wires attach to the new solenoid.
