I’ve had my 08 rabbit for 12 years and today, thanks to this video, I changed the signal light by myself vs having the good people of jiffy lube change it for me. Thanks for the clear instructions, telling me what size socket wrench you used and good tip about the rag to catch butter finger dropped screws.
Thank you so much! Good god what an ordeal just to replace a bulb. I hope I don’t mess up. I sure miss my 81 rabbit. Easy peasy replacing the bulbs on that one. Thanks again ;)
Great video - very helpful - clear easy to understand. Successfully changed my light which had been driving me crazy for the past 3 months !! thank you Kathy - keep it up !!
Kathy, I am trully impressed! You can cook and replace car back light bulbs. MARRY ME KNOW. LOL! Now if I have a back light bulb blow, I will know how to replace it and not have to pay an expensive mechanic bill. I also did not know you shouldn't touch the bulbs, since the oil our skin produces will decrease it's lifetime. Thanks, HPE Teacher
Thanks! Just replaced my taillight bulbs. I touched one of the bulbs by accident so we'll see how long it lasts. They were only $3 for both at my local VW dealership so I'm not too worried!
My brake light keeps going out when it rains because water is somehow getting into that area. Any tips to seal or fix this? One shop drilled a small hole in the brake light reflector and that worked well. But for some reason they only did one and the problem is in both brake lights.
