Change your watch battery by yourself on a Fossil watch, Festina, Daniel Wellington,...! In this video I will show you how a watch battery needs to be replaced, without damaging the watch case. Also without leaving fingerprints on the movement. It is important to not touch the movement with your bare hands.

Mine is a Linjer the petite, but your tutorial was very helpul, ty so much! It is a similiar watch inside, it has a Ronda movement, and I had to open it to change the battery after 6 years of use working perfectly fine. The only issue is the precision screwdriver I purchased especially for this task was not precise enough...so I used my 'home gadgets', that is my scalpel blade (and its back handle) , tooth picks and my adson forceps. It worked almost perfectly (made one long scratch on the back while trying to open it with the 1.4mm screwdriver that I bought for this). I don't live in Belgium, otherwise I would certainly have sent my watch for you to change the battery and have a check.

For those looking to put the plastic piece back on slide or apply force against the green tabs to let the white piece sit all the way into the side opposite of the crown. In other words, pull the green tabs towards the crown then insert the plastic white piece.
