This video shows you how to install an airbag clock spring on your 2005-2010 Chevrolet Cobalt. The clock spring is what connects the various electrical components in your steering wheel to the vehicle’s electrical systems. Things like the horn, airbag, and even media controls rely on it to work properly. If you face issues with any of those components, a new clock spring may be what you need.

Also, at 2:25 there are TWO tabs at the top of the blue connector. It's imperative to connect with one on the right side (inside the plastic connection box). The left one (on top) won't disconnect the part!

Excellent,..just excellent! I need help over how to repair DIC, because mine is stuck on Trip A ! The buttons(2) on the steering do nothing at present! Can you help?

If you get the steering wheel back in the same position on the spline after you're done, why would you need to get a four wheel alignment? Mechanics are very nice to demystify car repair procedures, but you have to understand that we are motivated by cost savings, and an unnecessary four wheel alignment pretty much negates any cost savings.
