I don't comment much on youtube videos, but this was one of the best how-to videos I've come across. Saved me a lot of headaches on replacing the aLternator on my nephew's five hundred. Thanks!

Excellent video, but this job was made easier for 2 reasons. One, its on a lift. Its a differemt experience on the ground. 2, it doesnt have the plastic cover which makes the job much worse. The Mercury Montego is the same process.

So the tension tool will not come out. I'm thinking this is why he removes the tensioner. A socket won't work you'll need that box wrench and thats a 15mm, its not on the list as a box wrench. Don't have one and now I'm trying to figure out how to get the tension tool off! Note I have a 2007 and seems to be a little more difficult to reach in between places. I love this guy's videos, I'm learning a lot need better tools and help.Thanks for your videos!
