how to replace an Anderson window crank ( quick/easy ) 

I have watched numerous videos on how to remove the covers, but this was the first one I found that suggested removing the bottom trim. I just wanted to remove the covers to paint the window trim so just loosening the trim was enough for me to get the covers off. I was extremely frustrated trying to get the covers off before seeing this video. I cannot thank you enough!!!

Wow, I wish removing that bottom trim piece was so easy. Popped off like magic!

I have a quick question: what if I cannot find the crank anymore and I find another one with a shorter arm do you think I can use it?

I can’t remove my casing behind the crank It’s got a set screw. Removed that and crank arm handle came out but cannot get that plastic casing out

Can you replace them with another brand/make?

Anyone know what model of Anderson window this is? I have to replace a few of them and would prefer to use the same ones!
