In this video we teach you how to replace the Blink Doorbell requires 2 AA batteries for operation. You will also need a small flat head screwdriver to remove the Blink Doorbell.
To Replace The Blink Doorbell Batteries:
1. Use a small flat head screwdriver and insert it into the locking slot on the bottom of the Blink Doorbell to release the plastic latch.
2. Push upwards on the Blink Doorbell to remove the Blink Doorbell from the mounting plate.
3. Replace the 2 AA batteries required for operation.
4. Slide the Blink Doorbell into place on the mounting bracket and push down to lock it into place.

It is very easy to install and it works very well, with a clear picture through the app and good in-home use (we added the chime, which is also easy to install and doesn't require another thought to use).

To remove the cover you simply push up gently with the tool supplied (or with a screwdriver of similar width)on the light grey 2 prongs that are in the hole shown in the video. There is no need to lever or use any force!

Thank you for helping me with changing the batteries, but now I can't get the doorbell back on! I've tried for a half hour, accidentally kept ringing it trying not to wake anyone up, and just gave up. Hopefully my son can get it on in the morning 😔

Mine is different, The bottom clip push up on so it releases at the bottom and then there's cover that goes over the batteries

I have a question the little white device that comes with this you plug it in what is that used for my daughter said it's probably to recharge the battery but I wouldn't I don't see anywhere to plug it in to recharge the battery so I don't think that's what it's for can you recharge these lithium batteries if you know what the little tiny white box is for that you plug in please tell me

I noticed my batteries were draining very quickly. (like 2-3 weeks, I was notified my batteries were low), and I was using the lithium batteries extended lifespan expensive ones and was always changing them, I did some research and figured out you have to change the recording time to a shorter time and the batteries won't drain/die as fast. I'm not an expert by any means, but I hope that helps.

Mine died in 3 short weeks. Mind you, it was a period of extreme cold, and my recording time is set to max. I will adjust that and fingers crossed my lithium batteries hold out for at least 6 months. This guy really did do an amazing job showing how to replace the batteries!

I bought a sticky double sided lights both fell off after a day of so. The glue isn't as tacky as it used to be. Not saying your item will be the same. Making a hole in my landlords metal door 🚪 🤔

Not every AA batteries make sure you get a good brand not necessarily lithium because if you get the one from the dollar store will not work
