How to Replace Cabin Air Filter 2008 Honda Pilot | AQ1054

So I did this today and realized my filter had NEVER been changed and Im sure it's because it's so hard to access. I will say there's an extra plastic bar across the metal horizontal bar they show removing and we were stumped but then realized it was perforated and supposed to be removed permanently. Around 2:17 ish you can see the broken parts where they took it off so we just sawed it off. This video is great thank you!

I don't see why you need to remove the side panel. But Ill believe you if you say so.
