Gah dang!!!! Forget that mess! How in the hell did you stay so calm through out that?!?!? Everything in my shop would be broke! I would have just scrapped that whole truck!!!

FINALLY! A truthful video on what these "simple" projects usually turn into. I can't tell you how many times I've had a 15-20 job turn into an hour or more because of something like this! Thank you for showing all the steps you took to remove the stubborn sensor.

Took out the 10mm retainer bolt, unplugged the cable, and it rotated very easily. Didn't seem to want to pull out even when gently prying. Decided to disconnect the lower plug to get my had in a little better and noticed a skinny blue wire coming from the wiring harness had abraded and broke away from the connecter. Repaired that and I'm good to go. Served as a god reminder to ALWAYS check and verify all sensor wiring is good BEFORE starting to replace (or even buying) the part. Great video, as usual!

Once you get the sensor spinning, spray it with Berryman carburetor cleaner and continue to spin and wiggle the sensor the most you can. There is carbon built up on the sensor that the carburetor cleaner can dissolve allowing it to come out. Just fought one for about an hour or two and once I sprayed the carb cleaner on it, it popped out in about 3 minutes just like it was new.
