Thanks it sat dead in my dresser drawer fir 9 years since smartphones came out! Can't get the time right though can't adjust the minutes?

Thank you very much, it has helped me replace mine. However, you forgot one important thing - do the AC reset! You need to use tweezers to touch the small golden AC contact and the silver/steel plate that has the (-) symbol. Other than that, thanks again!

My watch's analog hands stopped moving after the battery replacement. As I searched online, this is a common issue with this module. Also, did you every figure out what is the purpose of the 5th hidden button inside?

Nope I didn't find what's the purpose of the 5th hidden button. Did you manage to get the hands moving again?

Did you contact Casio to ask for advice? They are usually spot on with customer service. If you haven't, I would strongly recommend that you contact them. Good luck. Let me know if you manage to restart the analog part ;)

Look closely, and look at an original one, you will see the differences.

Where can I get an original one from? I thought this one is original. I bought it from eBay, highly rated seller.

@@GrollerG You can not trust, there are many copies that seem original and are not, at Amazon you can find originals and on ebay too, but you have to be careful.
