Thanks for this video. Invaluable! When the key wouldn't open up my car or pressing the door button wouldn't open it the door, I had a WTF panic moment. LOL. I'm kind of dissappointed that this fob battery lasted only 3 years. In comparison, I had a VW fob battery last me over 10 years and still going strong!

Thanks. One interesting thing I noticed is that with mine (for a 2018 Kia Sedona), the key itself, when removed from the fob, is the exact size and shape to fit in the slot for prying the fob open. It worked a lot better than any of my screwdrivers. Once the case is cracked open a bit, I recommend using a plastic spudger or pry tool (like you might find in a cell phone repair kit) to avoid damaging the plastic when prying the case open.

**Great video!** Like your amplifying up the clicking part when putting the key case back together. This was the most complete how to compared to others I viewed before trying it. (We have one key out)

Yeah. I was amazed at how the circuit board and all the little trim pieces became totally loose once it's pried open. People are well advised to do this at a table as he did rather than holding in their hand.

I'm very mechanical, it's my job. Kia did not make this intuitive. I figured out how to release the hard key and that was all. They probably hoped owners would take these to the dealer or get new ones. Anyway, thank you!
