Any idea what the part is at 13:26. I’m referring to the sensor looking part that has a black rubber boot covering it. I lost the black rubber boot and am wondering if this will work if I reinstall fuel pump with out rubber boot?
So my kfx450 will run perfect, but when it gets warm it starts sputtering and no power, if i let it sit for a bit it’ll start and run fine, then maybe a few minutes later it does the same thing. I changed the coil, no diff, i did change my fuel pump a while back, got the pump from ebay, could it be a pump issue since I installed the new one? The fan turns on, no fi lights stay on.

Hard to tell what your talking about but if it's what I think you are talking about it would be the fuel level sensor. I wouldn't think that would effect whether or not the quad runs. It would just not let your fuel light light up when low on gas.
@kyleholtmeyer7292 thanks, the positive 12 comes in on that pin it's the red wire at the plug, I got 12 volts at the pin that feeds that silver part and nothing out. If I put the 12 volts on the other side the pump comes on, I just don't understand, if that's all that is I can jump it out and be fine with it
@kyleholtmeyer7292 sorry I can't figure out how to screen shot your video, watching it the part comes in to view at 13.22 in the video. I have 12 volts at the bottom of this piece, nothing comes out, if I put 12 volts on the top of that part the pump runs
Just did mine and now it won’t start? Before I changed the pump it bogged if given more than half throttle figured new pump/filter and now won’t start? Any ideas?
@@claytonberry5932 no it’s was the throttle cable .. I backed it off and it would started.. might wanna mess around with it.. I clean injectors and everything before I found out that’s what it was… good luck brother 👍🏻
