In this video, I'll show you how to replace the cruise control switch on a 2012 Chevy Sonic LT. This is a 1.8 L 4-cylinder version. Here you'll see step by step process to remove the old and install a new unit in hopes that you can solve your cruise control issue.

Thanks for this. Got it done in like less than 30 mins on my 2013 thanks to knowing exactly where screws and clips were. A lot easier of a project than it initially seems.

Thank you thank you! I just tried to tackle this project today and a bunch of other videos/guides failed to mention the hex screw holding in the switches to the gray trim.

NEVER EVER place a airbag unit on its face!!!!! ALWAYS place it facing upwards! Otherwise in freak situations it will become a projectile and cause harm. 😳🤦‍♂️
