So.... I have a question. For example lets say I have 300x300 picture of wood floor that I want to make background of my new 2100x2100 project. But I don't want to resize the wood floor picture but to fill 2100x2100 with it without a need to copy&past it 20 times. Is it possible and if yes then how?

When the chair image was imported, it had a checkered background. How did you do it?
