In todays video on my 2006 F150 4x4 I am replacing the Alternator to see if that one I've had on the shelf forever still works or not. the Alternator looked brand new a few years ago when I got it from pick and pull. However from sitting in the garage it has kind of aged a bit. You may have alternator issues on your f150 if you suffer from the battery light being on, the voltage gauge isn't reading over 12 volts and if your battery is exhausted. There usually isn't any warning the Alternator will just fail and that will be it. This is a easy diy project
